15 minutes on that treadmill.  Barefoot as usual.  Took it a bit easy and/but noticed a slight cramping in my right leg (esp. around the knee).  But the bottoms of my feet felt fine today.

Treadmill says I burned 203 calories.

1.17 miles; pace was 4.68 mi/hr.

15 barefoot minutes on the treadmill.  After yesterday, I considered taking it easy today.  But I was determined to get that first-ever sub-10 minute mile.  And I did, albeit barely: maximum speed was around 7.4 mi/hr, and the mile time was a few seconds shy of 10 minutes (going to go with probably 9:54).  Also: I figured out how fast I need to run for the pedometer to go flying off my shorts.  That being said, now the bottoms of my feet hurt—not quite blisters, but a little bit like that—especially on the left foot.

Treadmill says I burned 252 calories.

1.50 miles; pace was 6.00 mi/hr.

15 barefoot minutes on the treadmill.  As if making up for yesterday, started off with the pace cranked to 6.0 mi/hr.  What was I thinking?  That that was the only way to get a mile in under 10 minutes.  And somehow the mile time was still around 10:15.  Lame.

15 barefoot minutes on that treadmill.  Got a little winded around minute 12 but it soon passed.  Why winded, all of the sudden?

An hour and forty-five minutes at the rock gym after work.  Even managed a 5.11- and a couple of 5.10 routes; plus a couple of 5.9s that may have been sand-bagged (one that was even labeled “5.9++”).

Good night out.  My hands are sore.

Treadmill says I burned 216 calories.

1.25 miles; pace was 5.00 mi/hr.

15 minutes on the treadmill; barefoot, as I usually am.  This one seemed to take forever to get through.  Legs were already sore at the start.

Treadmill says I burned 234 calories.

1.37 miles; pace was 5.48 mi/hr.  Best pace since I started running semi-regularly again.

15 minutes on that treadmill.  Barefoot.  I slept in a little today; it the snooze—I did not want to get up and run.  But I ran.  I’m glad I did.  But mostly because I think that’s the first time I’ve ever hit four days in a row.

Treadmill says I burned 222 calories.

1.29 miles; pace was 5.16 mi/hr.

15 barefoot minutes on that treadmill.  Took the pace down a notch or three today.  I wondered, if I just didn’t try to push it to 6+ mi/hr could I keep that pace up for 30 minutes?  Probably yes.  But I hate the idea of spending that much time on the treadmill.

15 barefoot minutes on the treadmill.  Turned it up to 6.0 mi/hr for a few minutes for the first time today.  Maybe that’s why I broke a sweat?  Maybe that’s why I felt so worn out at the end of it?

Treadmill says I burned 231 calories.

1.35 miles; pace was 5.40 mi/hr.
