22 total minutes this morning; shod and outside. First 15 were running; bottom 7 were a slow cool-down walk on that last dog-leg of the route home. Got a little winded around minute 10 that kept up through 15, which is why I quit all-out running.
Pedometer app says I burned 244 calories.
1.98 miles; pace was 5.40 mi/hr. (Going to estimate the running portion’s pace was 6.04 mi/hr).

Outside run in the morning; shod. 13 minutes, 16 seconds. Did a familiar loop but… let’s say that the gradual downhill is a little steeper in reverse.

Two walks. Lunch time: 1.85 miles in 36 minutes. After dinner: 1.41 miles in 45 minutes. Overall pace for the day was 2.41 mi/hr.

19 minutes All of it outside, 15 minutes running (the rest was a cool-down walk). Don’t trust anyone that tells you that there’s such thing as a runner’s high. It’s bullshit. Sore arches, a bit winded, and a slight cramp right at the end there. Running: what a terrible idea.

Morning run. About 15 minutes, plus a cool-down walk of 2 minutes. (Where by “cool-down” I mean “I was close to home and I was tired and WTF? why not just walk the rest of the way”.) It was nice outside this morning. Brisk. I saw a deer in the woods off the side of the road.

A shod figure-eight path through the neighborhood that took 16:50. So very tired this morning. On days and off days. Strange loops.

A shod morning run; another one almost exactly 15 minutes outside. This one (however) did not feel like quite as much effort. Seems to help that I can change up the loop a little.

A morning run; shod, but outside. A loop around the neighborhood but reversed this time. Still just barely under 15 minutes, which means that it’s barely enough for what I want now and won’t be if (when!) my pace improves.

Walked the Shelburne Museum grounds. Two days of that. Probably about 3+ miles all told. Plus all that chasing around of the not-quite-3-year-old.

Outside this morning, a fifteen minute run. Shoes on, of course. My arches hurt a little by the time I got home. And this morning I seemed to get a little more winded than I did the other evening. Not too bad but… I did walk (“cool down”?) that last block before I got home.

Missed my run this morning; somehow managed to sleep through the alarm after The Boy woke just before the alarm would have gone off.
Tried to make up for it with a lunchtime walk. 1.83 miles in 37 minutes; sunny day lunchtime stroll pace was 2.97 mi/hr.
And then I took a run outside in the evening. 1.94 miles in 20 minutes; pace was 5.82 mi/hr.
Felt great.

15 barefoot minutes on that damn treadmill. Actually, this morning wasn’t too bad. I just think that it might be time to snap out of my routine and run outside in the morning. Once in a while. But last night was rough for sleep and I over-slept as it was. (Forget about even getting up early.)

15 minutes on the treadmill. Barefoot. Not even 12 hours after climbing, back at it. Tried to push myself on the run this morning since I did not on the wall last night. I am not dissatisfied.
